As part of the $298 million dollar bond passed by Littleton voters in 2018, Littleton Public Schools committed to investing in new, flexible furniture and seating options in classrooms, libraries, and cafeteria spaces at all levels.
“Flexible learning spaces had a positive impact on student wellbeing. Students spoke of the positive feelings they experienced when in the spaces, commenting on how the spaces were inviting, calming, relaxing, and comfortable; resulting in students feeling happy to be in the spaces.” (Kariippanon, 2016).
